Jim is RSTI’s President and a Partner. Jim joined RSTI as a consultant to assist the company and his long time friend, Terry Speth in turning around his training business. After graduating from Bob Jones University in 1971 with a B.S. in Secondary Education, he spent the next 25 years in the retail business.
Starting as a buyer for The May Company in Cleveland, Jim held various positions over time including Merchandise Manager at Gold Circle Discount Stores, President of Winkelman’s Apparel Stores, and President of JoAnn Crafts and Fabric Stores. His last position in the retail business was President, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of HomePlace Stores, a fashion, home décor chain of retail stores. Jim is a current member of the RSTI Board of Directors.

CEO
Kathy is the wife of the late Terry Speth, Sr., the Founder of RSTI. As a Partner, she has been involved in the business for 27 years and took the position of Chairman & CEO in January of 2009, approximately one month after his passing. For many years she served as the bookkeeper at RSTI and eventually took over all of the accounting and money management activities. She shared the vision for the growth and development of RSTI, all the way back to the days when Terry, Sr. worked at Picker X-ray. Kathy is current Chairman of the RSTI Board of Directors.

Instructor / VP / CIO
Certs: CPSM, A+, Network+, Security+
Todd joined RSTI as an Instructor in 2001. Todd is CPSM (Certified PACS Systems Master) certified as a PACS administrator. His expertise in various areas of DICOM and computer networking and administration qualify him to develop updated curriculum and serve as Lead Instructor for RSTI’s PACS Engineer/Administrator Certification Series. Todd also teaches analog and digital mammography systems, CR, DR, GE Proteus, Bone densitometry, and AMX-IV Portables. In addition to his duties as an Instructor, Todd manages RSTI’s Intranet and digital modality/PACS network. Todd graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Alfred University (Alfred, NY) in May 2001, and is a Partner at RSTI. Also, Todd is a current member of the RSTI Board of Directors.

Instructor / VP / Director of Training
Dale has served as the VP and Director of Training for the past three years. In his 25 years with RSTI he has held positions as Lab Instructor, Technical Instructor, Senior Instructor and Training Manager. Prior to coming to RSTI, Dale worked as Chief of Technical Operations for a start-up wireless cable company. Dale also served in the US Army for 8 years in the field of Satellite Systems repair. Other electronics experience includes Field Service with Picker International and Satellite Assembly and Testing with TRW.
Dale is currently working towards his BSEE degree. Dale received his electronics training in the US Army as well as leadership, equipment maintenance management, instructional and personnel management training. Dale has been a Certified Radiological Equipment Specialist (CRES#170) and is a Partner at RSTI. Additionally, Dale serves as a current member of the RSTI Board of Directors.

Instructor / VP Sales & Marketing
John is the VP of Sales & Marketing. John is a Partner and member of the RSTI Board of Directors. John joined the RSTI team in February of 2002 as an instructor. He started with RSTI teaching Ultrasound. Since then, he has added Phase I & III, all Analog and Digital Mammography systems, GE R&F systems, Philips Radiographic systems. He served eight years in the United States Navy three of which were teaching advanced electronics.

Instructor
David Domanski has been a technical Instructor with RSTI since March, 2005. Prior to joining the RSTI team he worked as a field service engineer for a multi-vendor independent service organization covering Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. David is currently the lead instructor for Phase I (Principles of Servicing Diagnostic X-Ray) and Phase II (Advanced Radiography ) as well as the OEC 9600,9800 and 9900 c-arms.
David attended Indiana University 1989-1992. He graduated from RSTI’s Certificate Series in January 2003. He has completed many manufacturers’ training programs on specific radiographic and ancillary equipment.

Instructor
Mike joined RSTI as an Instructor in February 2005. His experience in communications design and engineering sales and technical support qualified him to update and teach our mammography curriculum. In addition to his duties as an Instructor, Mike is in charge of RSTI’s graphics department to include newsletter and schedule layout and design.
Mike earned his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from University of Akron, May 2001.

Instructor
Matt, like many RSTI employees, has served our country in the US Marines. He has over eight years experience in electronics, a couple of which were as an instructor for the Marine Corps. In addition, as an international service representative for Fedex, he was responsible for clearance of freight moving into Canada. Look for Matt to be teaching his first courses in 2012.

Training Registrar
Anna joined RSTI in 1990 as our Marketing Coordinator where she later grew into the role of Training Registrar. Her major contributions include student recruitment, selection, and enrollment. In addition, Anna coordinates the entire registration process from start to finish: implementing and managing training contracts as well as maintaining the customer database.
Anna also interfaces with the State Approving Agency (GI Bill) and State of Ohio Board of Career Schools and Colleges. Anna graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio in 1984 with a B.A. in English and a Business Concentration.

Equipment Sales
Darrel joined the RSTI team in September 2008. Prior to joining RSTI, Darrel worked in the medical imaging parts business for 5 years. While working in the parts business, Darrel gained knowledge of the equipment and an understanding of what it takes to install, de-install, and move imaging equipment. Removal and logistics have become a strength in his ability to buy and sell imaging equipment.
Darrel has also been studying electronics to gain a better knowledge of the systems and their working components. He has installed radiographic and R/F rooms, analog and digital Mammography systems.

Equipment Sales
Terry has spent most of his life, growing up in and around RSTI’s labs and warehouse. Over the past 6 years, he’s grown to become an invaluable member of the used medical equipment sales team. Terry assists with installations and de-installations of equipment around the country. He is instrumental in transitioning labs and used equipment within our advanced training environment. Terry has a BA in Business from BGSU in 2006.

Technician
Ken joined RSTI in early 2008 as an X-Ray Service Technician to assist in shipping and receiving. Ken ensures all equipment entering or leaving RSTI is in working condition. Ken also uses his expertise in keeping all of RSTI labs up and running. He continued his love for technology by enrolling in an electronics program while still in high school. He graduated from high school as a certified electronics technician.

Warehouse Manager
Dale manages the warehouse, including the shipping and receiving departments at RSTI. He came to us with an extensive background in the X-Ray field, serving as a Technical Support Specialist with Picker X-Ray and Installation Coordinator with various X-ray companies. Dale joined RSTI in 2004. As our newly created Used Equipment Business took off, there was a need to better organize this department. Dale chose to undertake this responsibility and has helped to create the great reputation that RSTI continues to have with its Used Equipment Sales.

Documentation Manager
Donna has been with RSTI for 23 years. Her major responsibilities include maintaining, updating and distributing the classroom documentation for every student attending RSTI. She organizes and administrates the RSTI technical library, including all manuals and schematics, as well as manages the sales and shipping of the Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) program.
Donna has five years teaching experience and has a B.S. in Education from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio, 1971.

Accountant
Yvonne joined RSTI as the staff accountant in July of 2010. Prior to joining RSTI she was a Senior Tax Associate with RSM McGladrey, Inc. Yvonne earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Cleveland State University in May 2001.
